CREATIVE MAPPING: HydroGlobe in Cambodia

HydroGlobe is a project proposal to use a blockchain ICO to develop sustainable water filtration systems in underdeveloped countries. Using Ethereum cryptocurrency, investors purchase shares from HydroGlobe, which are then resold on the blockchain market. These funds, paired with external company partnerships and global connections, are used to develop solar-powered water filtration kiosk systems to supply clean water to underdeveloped countries. This project development aims to connect the blockchain and cryptocurrency world run by the wealthy to the global people through humanitarian and sustainable efforts.

To further develop this project proposal, we developed creative maps to visualize where these HydroGlobe systems can be developed. Specifically, we focused on Cambodia, a country where 84% of the population does not have access to clean water. To develop these creative maps, communities on an around major contaminated water sources were mapped, to ensure water present in the region and a need for clean water supply by the people. These communities are marked on each map by water drop symbols, signifying that a HydroGlobe water kiosk can supply clean water to the people within a six (6) mile radius of the kiosk location. Mapping the development of HydroGlobe systems provides a visual display of how these water systems can benefit communities of people across the globe, who do not have the proper technology and sanitation systems to supply clean water for themselves. By implementing HydroGlobe in countries like Cambodia, the access to water will greatly increase, therefore increasing the quality of life and life span for those present in the communities.
