This creation of this second cloud model was horrifying. And to be honest with you, I don’t really like the shape. There are parts of it I truly enjoy, like the bottom. But the top of the cloud almost reminds me of the main starship in STAR WARS. This could be good or bad. But I really do like the idea of using a variety of models throughout the work, but am not 100 percent sold this should be one of them. We will see when the mold is poured and finally revealed as a tangible object.
I’ve begun to consider the concept of interactivity with this work. Does it need to involve sensors? If the piece is outside, we will be unable to use infrared sensors. This brings up an interesting perspective on participation and levels of interactivity.
