OMG this mold is impossible! It leaks terrible. I’ve made more attempt at getting a final form from this plaster but it is a struggle. It’s a shame because this is my second favorite model but I have yet to see it actualized into a physical form.
The peaks and valleys on the top of the form remind me of landscape and the peaks on the roofline of DIA. These shapes (both cloud 1 and cloud 3) remind me of rocky and mountainous terrain. The abstracted Rocky Mountains are felt to be a strong influence to these final forms.
I truly hope I am able to get a ceramic object from this mold. I would like to see how it works in conjunction with the others! Wish me luck!
