COMMUNITY ART

This project was developed with a desire to create digital art, communally. A Processing sketch becomes interactive art with the assistance of Arduino and a joystick. The viewer controls the joystick which in turn moves a graphic rectangle 360 degrees within the digital canvas. During the graphic animation, I perform keyboard commands that cause changes in color and filter within the sketch. I am also able to capture and save the digital works with a keystroke.

This performance/interactive artwork empowers and elevates the role of viewer to public artist, one who create collaborative works of digital art.
