WEARABLE 3D PRINT – New Dehli, India
This project was developed in response to the digital divide in India. Traditional community culture prevents women from publically using electronic devices. This 3D printed wearable will assist women with directions and/or alternative routes to their most traveled destinations.
I would like to continue to explore the functionality of this project with the design and 3D print of additional google maps/street grids. These patterns would be developed into oversized cuff bracelets. I am also interested in creating other types of jewelry, possibly rings with street grids from specific locations that have meaning and/or personal relevance. (ex. childhood home street address, neighborhood street, your college campus, major cities, central park, etc.)
